As the day goes by, even the best-applied makeup can slip, fade, and get phone- or finger-printed. Long days call for a few quick touch-ups to revive beautifully applied makeup.

• If you have oily skin, blot away the excess oil by laying either a tissue or one of the face-blotting papers sold by some cosmetics companies over the face and blotting. Perm endpapers also work well. Do this before you do anything else.
• Remove all of your lipstick so you can start over after you have touched up your face makeup. Apply a light layer of lip balm if lips feel dry.
• Once the excess oil on your skin has been absorbed, take a fresh sponge and smooth out the foundation, blush, and contour (women with dry and normal skin should also follow this step). Use a gentle buffing motion, making sure to smooth things as you go.
• Apply a little extra concealer under the eyes if that area looks a bit dark.
• If you need a little more foundation over blemishes or discolorations, blend it on now, avoiding the blush and contour area.
• Dust a light layer of pressed powder over the face. A pressed powder with an SPF 15 that includes the UVA-protecting ingredients, titanium dioxide, or zinc oxide is an excellent option to assure all day sun protection.
• Apply more blush or contour if needed, but only if needed, and be careful—color grabs more over makeup that has been on the face awhile.
• If you want to touch up your eyeliner, particularly under the eyes where it might have smeared, use a powder shadow instead of a pencil. Use the corner or side of your makeup sponge to remove any evidence of smeared eyeliner.
• If your eye shadows have creased, blot the area gently with a tissue or blotting paper and then use a brush to smooth out the color. Apply a powder over the area to even out the shadows and add whatever color is needed to make your eye makeup look balanced.
• Finally, reapply your lip liner and lipstick.

With an artistic thought make use of your make up blusher cleverly to slim down chubby cheeks. This will help you to slender your face and give a look which you dreamed of. Follow these steps for the same.

• Select two shades of blush, one of a deeper shade and other of lighter. Also purchase a compact with two coordinating shades so that the shades go together.

• Apply your usual foundation make-up or powder to cover any imperfections and even out your skin tone.

• Apply the lighter shade of blush in rounded motions onto the apples of your cheeks.

• Next, following the line of your cheekbones, apply a sheer sweep of the deeper shade of blush.

• Blend, blend and blend. The key with this trick is to create dimension, but you do not want a very obvious demarcation between your natural cheek color and the blush.

•Sweep a small amount of the lighter shade across your nose and/or forehead as desired to add an extra glow to your complexion.

A thicker brow with a sharp eyebrow pencil using light, feathery strokes, adding color to thinner areas. As much as possible, work only with the hair that is there. The idea is to shade rather than draw on eyebrows.
Brush the brow up with a toothbrush. This will help to get the hair into firmness and settle them evenly. Apply the color by filling in the shape of the brow between the hairs where needed. Fill in only at the front or underneath the brow, or through the brow itself.

Groom your brows with a clean mascara brush or similar tool. Move loose hairs into place and blend color for a more natural appearance. When you are finished with the filling process, with the help of upward strokes, brush the brows back into the place. Prefer using an eyebrow brush for this purpose as this will help soften and shade the eyebrow pencil coloring to make it look more natural.

To see the natural line of the eyebrow and where it needs to be filled, comb your brow with the help of an eyebrow brush or a toothbrush in the direction in which it grows.

If you are going to be photographed do not forget to take your makeup bag with you as you will need to do a few touch-ups to your face. It is important so that you can give a look what you want the photo to appear like. Also carrying your own make up will not leave you out of place to borrow the same or to stay incomplete. Everybody wants to look great in photos and pictures. Unfortunately not everyone is blessed with a natural beauty – some of us have to work harder in order to look great in photos, some have to conceal blemishes /pimples, discolorations, large pores/, other have to change their hairstyle and clothing.

The professional makeup artists highly appreciate the healthy, clear and naturally beautiful skin. But if your skin isn’t flawless you will have to use a few makeup products to achieve this. Every makeup artist makes use of a make up primer /base. If you use a good makeup primer, you can hide imperfections like, large pores, small pimple, skin discolorations, spots, freckles and so on. This will give you a clear face look and the same outlook will appear when you picture is clicked.

Besides using products to glow your face for the photo, you shouldn’t forget about your eyes. Remember, your eyes are the most attractive part on your face so you need to make it look the best. There are even eyelid primers that conceal the yellowing hints under your eyes. So never miss out in glowing your eyes.

Once you have chosen your right cosmetic kit to suit your face, you must also know the right tips to get your lips in shape. Applying a lipliner is not only a great way to define and accentuate the shape of your lips, but also to keep your lipstick from feathering. Learn the tips to shape your lips.

Begin with the first step of applying the lipliner at the center of your natural upper lip line to define the bow then work toward the outer corners to complete the line. Start at one corner of your bottom lip then follow your natural lip line all the way to the other corner.

Choose a lipliner that matches your lipstick or a flesh tone shade for a soft, natural look. To get plumper, pinker looking lips do not touch up by drawing a hard lip line; smudge it so lips look fuller! For a more dramatic fullness, choose a lipstick shade with a hint of frost. To avoid lipstick on your teeth, put your index finger in your mouth and then draw it out slowly with your mouth closed. What you see on your finger is what would have ended up on your teeth!

Applying a lip liner & lip gloss is a work of art because you need to know perfectly the angles of the lips. However, before doing the applications, you need to choose the best colors of lip liner and lip gloss you will be using. You also need to know your purpose of choosing the right colors if it will perfectly pout your lips or what. You also need to determine the best lipstick you will be using that is long lasting, perfect and made with the finest ingredients that will enhance your look as well as the skin of your lips.

Tips to Apply lip liner
Before putting on a lip color on your lips, use a lip liner or pencil as this will help in forming the natural shape of your mouth. To apply the lip liner you just have to draw line outside your natural lip line for more fullness and another line on the inside of your natural lip line to make it appear slightly thinner. But if you want to achieve a luscious pout for your lips, add a line on the bottom lip that is two shades lighter than the line of your upper lip.

For a more freedom on your lip colors, ensure that you have the various colors of your lip liner pencils as one single color of lip liner will not cut it out especially if you want to create an illusion of fullness and heavier for your lips.

Tips to lip gloss
Applying lip gloss with essential oils will make your lips look wonderful as well as your feeling. The choices of warm and cool shades for your lip gloss are great for your lipstick as these will make your favorite lipstick color to have that extra layer of light loving color. Plus, you can even wear lip glosses alone if you want a more pretty and natural look. However, in achieving this look, choose the best lip gloss that matches your skin tone.

When applying blush, you want the color to look soft and natural, as if it comes from within. Read below for tips on how to put on make-up.

Tap or lightly blow on the applicator brush to remove any excess blush before applying to prevent a harsh and uneven application.

Apply your blush on the apple of the cheek and carefully blend towards your natural hairline.

If you have two shades, apply the darker one on the apple of the cheek first, then use the lighter shade to highlight. Blend well so there is no visible line between colors.

Highlight your temples, forehead and chin.

Some tips to make your cheeks appear healthy:

To know “where to glow” bend over for 30 seconds, then slowly stand up. Where your cheeks are flushed is where you are meant to blush. Apply your blush there and it will be naturally rosy every time.

Cheek color should be used to enhance your complexion, not to change your natural skin tone. Use sparingly for daytime, then add more or a deeper shade for a more dramatic nighttime effect. For special occasions, dust a lightly frosted powder over your cheekbones for a subtle but alluring glow.

Make sure to blend your blush into your foundation well or it will tend to look unnatural and add the appearance of 5 years to your looks.

How to bring back the glow is the question foremost on the minds of most men and women considering getting a facial done. The best facial is one that constitutes use of natural ingredients because they contain all of the essential vitamins that the skin needs and are able to revitalize it without the worry of harsh chemical additives that can affect the balance of the skin. Below are the different face facial tips:

Choosing a facial mask requires one to pay keen attention to the skin type and purchase a facial mask in accordance with the skin’s needs. These few minutes dedicated to finding the right kind of facial mask is what will spell the difference for the freshened and revitalized look to your face.

The other great benefit of commercially available facial masks is that they require minimum effort on your part as all the beautification, detoxification and exfoliation work is done by the active ingredients of the facial masks.

A facial mask is a unique and instantaneous way to complement the daily skin care routine and adds to the breathing power granted to the pores of the skin when combined with the beauty regime of cleansing, toning and moisturizing.

Whether your facial is the mask variety or cream-and-wash kind, take care that it must not be done too frequently as this can endanger the ph balance of your skin.

Applying a facial mask should be restricted to a weekly procedure and correspond to your skin type to ensure the most positive beautifying effect to your face.

If you have a dry skin, look for facials that will replenish the moisture needed by your facial skin and go in for products that offer coco or shear butter, lanolin, Vaseline, natural or scented fruit or nut-extract oils for extra nourishment. Fruit extracts like strawberry, peach, apricot and banana with milk components are believed to rejuvenate and hydrate dry skin.

Choose a facial that will soften the upper derma layers and improve its color, clean and contract, intensify circulation of blood so you get that healthy, youthful glow on your face.

Always thoroughly cleanse your skin to receive the maximum benefit of a home facial and include the neck area for massaging and treating during a facial too.

Once you have carried your beauty with the best makeup by keeping your Hands Away From Your Face, you don’t feel like getting back to the same old face of yours. You wish for your face to stay the way it is but it cant work that. You need to take off and clean every bit of that face on your face. This will help your skin to stay clean and protect your beauty from danger.

Makeup removers are important for clean skin. Most women in world with normal skin use water and tissues to remove the makeup but they should use a cleanser at night to remove makeup beacuse cleanser will cut through most face makeup and eye makeup is hard to remove and requires skill and oil to remove it.

Here some tips to remove makeup:

First, make sure your makeup removal routine is as gentle as possible.

Always begin with your eye makeup. Take sightly wet cotton ball with eye makeup remover and remove all traces of makeup by gently rub each eye until the makeup dissolves, but use a very gentle touch.

Now wash your eyes with a lukewarm water and also splash the water on your face.

Place a small of makeup cleanser in the center of one hand and rub your hands together to generate lather. Add water if necessary.

Apply the cleanser lather to your face and gently rub it.

Now rinse the face with water to ensure the removal of makeup cleanser.

Dry your face with the towel.

And now you are back with your same old look but remember this time it is cleaner and safer.

We always check products to give beauty to our face and Makeup Removers to keep it clean and safe. But we don’t realize that most of the harm is caused to our face by own hands. Many times we scratch or rub our face badly even without realizing that we are destructing it’s beauty. Here are tips to keep your hands away from your face.

Wear gloves in your hands all the time may work well. If you notice that you have your hands on your face at night, this will especially work. Use them during the day when you are in private, too. Just be sure to keep your gloves clean. Wash them weekly.

Whether it’s your roommate, your siblings, or your parents, ask them to scold you when they see you touching your face. Just be sure to tell them that it’s comfortable for you to use your hands to wash your face.

When you wash your face, don’t scrub too hard. This will irritate your face, and cause you to attempt rubbing the pain away.

Don’t scratch your face. You could scratch acne, making the condition worse.

Be busy and also let your hands be busy too. You can take up games or any other computer game which can draw your attention from your hands. You can even take up the free hands.
